Preview: X-Men Jim Lee Tribute

Back in like 1991-92 Jim Lee was the man in drawing X-Men comics. He had this 3 panel poster I wanted so bad, Some stores sold all 3 of them for $24.99 and back than, I was barely getting $5 allowance a week. By the time I had the money the poster was gone, (no on-line stores, I had no credit card!) Fast forward to 2010, I wanna redraw the 3 panel Poster (here, only 1 is shown) and print it out for personal viewing in my office. I will look nothing like Jim's classic representation but its gonna be fun to redraw it through my eyes.

2010 Home Game Designs

Havin' a great time out with the Golden State faithful!

It's nice having the games we are attending to be spread out. A few seasons ago I tried to do a new sign during every game and didn't really work out well. Nowadays it gives me time to think about what I want to post up. For what ever reason, We always have a good time bringing these concoctions. Whether its getting a nod from the players, getting on the jumbo tron or just getting folks to smile, its all about having a great time! Tonight's game should be fun, it's going to be on National TV!

TNT is in town...Now serving Denver Nuggets!

From left to right: 2008 design as seen on TV... 2010 design hopefully to do the same!

I'm lovin' it when TNT comes to town and its only right to try and get on national television! We're gonna be seeing the Denver Nuggets take on the Golden State Warriors which is sure to be interesting, especially in the 4th quarter! Charles Barkley, Denver Chicken Nuggets and some of our Dubs in concession outfits should keep the crowd amused. Join the open thread at GSoM and if you haven't seen my first sigh on TNT- check it out now.

Valentines Day came a few days early

Golden State Valentines 2010, Monday, February 8, 2010 vs. The Dallas Mavericks

Valentines Day came a couple days early for my wife and I. We weren't gonna be at Wednesdays game (2/10 vs. The Clippers) but had tickets to the Dallas game. What a great time to make my wife a Valentines Card-like sign for her favorite, Monta Ellis. It was a fun night, we were about 13 rows down visible enough for the players and cameras to see. Yea, I know we lost but as of late it just feels good to be out and about with the ones you love. It's the little things that mean a lot to us.Happy Valentines Day everyone!

"West Coast" (promo)

Adobe Illustrator with a "touch" of Photoshop... featuring a few of my talented friends. (Left to right) Lyrics Born, Megabusive, Dave Paul (Bomb Hip-Hop), Dem One and G-Wrex (Finger Bangerz)

I've got too much love for how we represent the west coast. Its hard finding a shirt that can represent California as a whole. Usually you see the same idea, a single color silhouette of the state of California or the Bear used numerous times... Too many "Bay Area Stand Up" shirts or "Killa Cali" using impact font with a bunch of area codes on the back of the shirt... it's the same gimmick. My "West Coast" takes tribute to that old school "Wild Style" flavor with the same number of letters, but for the West Coast Cats ya' know! I just wanna rep that pride and rep folks looking fly!
